2015 Game Reveal

And the 2015 game is …. Recycle Rush! FRC students from all around the world eagerly waited for the 2015 FRC game to be released at kick-off on January 3rd! Head on ABOUT FIRST –> 2015 FRC: RECYCLE RUSH to learn more about the game or check out this video At the HSN kick-off, team 1923 students brainstormed potential game strategies and robot designs, as they make their way to a busy six weeks of designing and building. Team 1923 got the chance to help out rookie team 5666, and the State Champion FLL Midknight Minions and the FTC Midknight Magic presented their robots too during lunch too! Team 1923 gives a big thank you to WW-P district administrator, Dr. Aderhold and Mr. Fleres, for their support. A big thanks to all the parents, and mentors, that made kick-off a success too!

MidKnight Mayhem Success!

June 29, 2014: The Midknight Inventors hosted their second successful MidKnight Mayhem!

The event was hosted by the team and featured 30+ FRC teams competing in the FRC 2014 game, Aerial Assist. A huge thank you to all the sponsors, volunteers, guest speakers, parents, mentors, and team members that made the event a huge success! Truly, the event could not have run as smoothly without you and the months of preparation were worth it!

1923 hosts MidKnight Mayhem, June 28th 2014

West Windsor-Plainsboro HS North will be invaded by robots once again on June 28, as the WWP district robotics team, The MidKnight Inventors, hosts their second annual FIRST® Robotics Competition event.

Known as MidKnight Mayhem, the day-long competition will feature over 30 high school robotics teams from across the country in a fast-paced competition, where remote controlled robots in teams of three must assist each other to score points, in the FIRST® Robotics game called “Aerial Assist”.

Monty Madness

Team 1923 competed at the 9th annual Monty Madness in Montgomery High School hosted by 1403 Cougar Robotics. The team captured the Gracious Professionalism Award along the way! After alliance selections, the team was seeded eight with alliance partners 1403, 2016, and 224. The team went on to beat the first seed alliance and finish the day off as semi- finalists!

Mid-Atlantic Region Championship

The MidKnight Inventors ended its official FRC Season as Mid- Atlantic Region Championship Quarterfinalists.

Thank you to our alliance partners team 1640 Sab- BOT- age and team 869 PowerCord! Congratulations to team 1923 member Michael Foley as he advances as a Dean’s List Finalist to the World Championship in St. Louis!

Lenape District Competition

Congratulation to team 1923 for a great performance at the Lenape District Competition! Team 1923 was the on the third seeded alliance and reached the quarterfinals with team 1647- the Iron Devils, and team 25- Raider Robotix. Them team has qualified to compete at the MAR District Championships at Lehigh from April 10- 12- make sure to check us out and our next competition!

Mount Olive District Competition

Way to go Tactical Snail! Congratulation to team 1923 for a great showing at the Mount Olive District Competition! Team 1923 was the captain of the #2 seeded alliance and reached the semifinals with team 11- Mort, and team 219- Impact. 1923  also went on to win the prestigious Creativity Award by Xerox which celebrates “creativity in design, use of component, or strategy of play.” Make sure to check us out at our next competition March 22nd and 23rd at Lenape- more information to come!
